Message: Alex made the process of purchasing my vehicle great! He explained the buying process, once I decided on a vehicle, he explained the vehicle’s options, and even followed up with me days after my purchase. I was extremely satisfied with my buying experience at Eastgate.

Message: Original 1-star review:. Seeking a used pickup truck, we contacted Eastgate about a truck we'd seen on line. After having driven the truck, we came home to think it over and came to the decision we wanted it. We had to make multiple calls to get a call back. We negotiated what we thought was a fair offer and agreed to a price. They sent me the paperwork and had done the "let's see how much we can add and get away with" thing that car dealers love to do. We weren't having it and told them to take the offending items off, only to be told they would not remove a final $399 charge for etching a security number of some sort on the windows that we neither requested nor wanted. They lost a $42, 500 sale over $399 and didn't even have the decency to get back to us to officially tell us the deal is dead after we contacted them. Either that or the salesman doesn't care if the dealership closes deals or not. At this point after such unprofessional treatment, we wouldn't buy from Eastgate if they offered us a new truck for $42, 500.. EDIT:. 4-star review:. After speaking with the General Manager of the dealership, we were able to come to an agreement for purchase. They sold us the vehicle for the price we wanted with the repair we asked for originally. We got an apology from the salesperson for not discussing costs before springing add-ons when presenting paperwork. We added running boards ourselves. When I brought the truck back to service for the repair and installation of running boards, I was treated very well. They did meet all promises at purchase time. The thing that keeps it from being a 5-star review is that we had to get angry and leave a scathing review before our concerns were addressed.

Message: This review is strictly for the Service Department. I had my vehicle towed to this dealership out of necessity. Prior to having it towed, I called the dealership to see if the could possibly service the vehicle and was given the thumbs up to have it towed. I was told someone in Service would contact me within 48 hrs with an update. It's been 72 hours, multiple phone calls and not a peep. Whenever I call service, the phone just rings and hangs up. At this point, I just wanna see if I can have it towed from this dealership to another one. I do nor recommend this dealership's Service Department.. Update: I changed my rating from a 1 star to a 4 star. Sean was on it! I sincerely appreciate his determination to address my concerns by actions not words. Once my vehicle was assigned a technician it was a breeze. Quick, friendly and extremely helpful.

Message: What can I say except for the best car/ truck buying experience of my life! These folks at Eastgate not only knocked it outta the park but a month after I'm still getting calls checking to make sure I'm happy with everything. Chad Taylor was my salesman and when I say he will not give up on a sale I mean that. Not in a pushy way but there to help to make sure your needs are getting met. I will not go anywhere else to buy a vehicle give Chad a call you won't be disappointed! Added bonus everyone I dealt with was very friendly and outgoing. Shopped for awhile before stopping here and it seemed like everywhere else I looked the salesmen seemed bothered to help us and work for you. If you've run into this treatment while trying to spend your money on a big purchase you must give Eastgate and Chad Taylor a try! Even if you're in the market for used car go see him and the used car mgr. Brian will do everything to get you in that car you want. Thanks Eastgate what a pleasurable experience! You all should be proud!

Message: First time customer. I wanted to take advantage of the 'buy 3 tires, get the 4th one for $1' deal, so I went in on 10/31/22 to order tires for my 98 Cherokee. The Goodyear tires I saved from the Mopar website were not available, but Drake found some other Goodyear tires that were only a few dollars more, so he ordered them. Then Mark in the Service Department told me to come back the next day and they'd install them for me. I came back on 11/01/22 and didn't see Mark, but Duane saw me standing there and checked me in and they got my tires installed in just under 2 hours. I got a great price for 4 brand new Goodyear tires, and I also received great customer service. Thank you!

Message: My experience was nearly perfect, with one exception. The online copy claimed this Gladiator came with an inverter and hitch, it did not. Being a tech savvy buyer, I made my purchasing decision online and with competition such as CarMax and Carvana going so far as to deliver vehicles to your home, Eastgate should realize that their online advertising is very important to get right in this new car buying landscape.. The dealer has agreed to install the hitch and is providing appeasement via a gas gift card as the inverters were removed due to the parts shortage. I do appreciate this, and it’s why I’m not demanding a buy-back or seeking legal action, however considering this specific model is $50, 000, a few thousand more than the value of my 2019 Tesla Model 3, I had high expectations as I could have purchased an Audi, BMW or several other luxury cars with the new car buying experience that comes with it.. As much as it pains me to say, I would double check to ensure the vehicle comes with the options and packages that are advertised by this dealership. I suppose you should always do this as mistakes do happen, but I did find myself a little optimistic as I bought into the dealer’s “no hassle” advertising on their website.. The sales person, finance manager and everyone else was great, and I’m assuming the dealer is refusing to install the inverter post-purchase as it may not even be able to be ordered. Fair enough. The pandemic has been exceptional times.
